ALL MAG SALES WILL BE DONATED TO BORDER KINDNESS!

If we can sell 40+ copies we can raise enough money to cover electricity costs for their Pink Shelter in Mexicali (one of the hottest places in the Northern hemisphere).

Border Kindness provides migrants, refugees, and the displaced with comprehensive services that include food, shelter, clothing, and medical care. They and we believe everyone should have opportunity to live free of pain, hunger, intimidation, and fear — something our current administration does not.

“Remain in Mexico” is the Trump Administration’s effort to deter, block and discourage Central American refugees from seeking and receiving asylum in the USA. Border Kindness provides support, transportation and funds to migrants and refugees to ensure they are present at asylum hearings – wherever and whenever they are scheduled!

Border Kindness accepts donations of clothing, blankets and unopened personal care items; however, by far the most efficient method of helping is by making a financial donation.

Transporting used clothing into Mexico is a complex and resource-consuming process. When new items are collected in the United States and taken across the border, a 16% import tax is charged, and a receipt showing the value of the item(s), and that they are new, must be presented Mexican border authorities.

In order to maximize time and donations, Border Kindness prefers to collect financial donations and then purchase needed items and food on the Mexican side of the border.
