A (belated) update about Lady Parts NYC numero uno for those that have been asking! Stay tuned for info about multi-city Lady Parts night! ladypartsnyc: melissa: Ladyparts was a goddamn (sweaty!) smash. Sitting on the floor (trying not to flash people?) slicing up Xeroxes and doing that late-night at-your-best-friend’s place multitasking thing of talking and eating and focusing intently on the weird art project on your lap. Plus I got to talk with someone with a successful Kickstarter project who lives in my building, and re-met a woman who I met in a cafe in Paris when we were both stranded there and were connected through the STRANDED volcano magazine. If I wanted to believe it, everyone in the world around me is making things they are stupidly obsessed with and that is good. At the end someone asked Cassie, when is the sleepover? and she said back without a pause, Now. (Sarah asked just now, listserv?, which is not that different.)
