  1. Got A Girl Crush On: Tina Belcher’s Music Video with St. Vincent

The weird-ass Tina Belcher has been on my GAGC to-blog list for sometime. Taking the awkward pubescent girl trope wildly further than most people are comfortable, she won me over with her butt-fascination-driven, Erotic Friend Fiction: Buttloose.

As if it could Tina and Bob’s Burgers could possibly get better in my eyes, I see this amazing Bob’s Buskers cover with St. Vincent.

This one goes in the ol’ Butt Bank.

  2. Got a Girl Crush On: St. Vincent’s Record Store Day single, “Krokodil”

Annie released this shit kicker as a one-day only treat this past weekend for Record Store Day, but thanks to the internets we can enjoy it still!

(be sure to check out the shredder of a “B-side, GROT)

More: other GAGC adorations for Ms. Clark

  3. Got a Girl Crush On: Tina Tyrell’s outtake portraits of Annie Clark

From St. Vincent’s newest album, Strange Mercy (which is amazing, btw)—aptly named the Anne Clark “baby sessions.”

  4. Got A Girl Crush On: Annie Clark (St. Vincent)
winesburgohio:

annie clark (in her other life: the ethereal st. vincent) covering brian eno’s “some of them are old” — two versions, here. the first, live at sundance, i love. just her voice, then the slow build of blistering noise coming up into it.  love the way you work it, girl.
