Got a girl crush on: Lyell Fall 2009 Collection

Emily Fletcher’s Lyell is one of those labels where if I had all the money in the world, I would put my blind faith in it right now and pre-order every season from here on out. Yes, I trust Emily’s vintage-inspired intuition that much. Emily’s got a real eye for pretty, using the most elegant of cuts, the gentlest of fabrics, and the loveliest of girls in each of her last 9 collections. This current one for Fall 2009 includes lush velvets, scallop hemmed shorts, feminine Peter Pan-collared silk blouses, and girlish wool coats. Check out the rest of this season’s lookbook here.

For those like me who can’t afford her flagship line, you can turn to her collaboration with Urban Outfitters Fletcher by Lyell.
