Our first glimpse of The Future, artist/writer/director Miranda July’s follow-up to her charming 2005 feature debut, Me and You and Everyone We Know, arrived tonight in the form of the Jon Brion-scored film’s official trailer above. If you’re a fan of July, Brion, or an occasional indie dramedy, not to mention Beach House songs (“Master of None”) in trailers, this promising preview is well worth a spin. The Future hits the big screen this summer.
