Every month our resident bruja, Sonia, picks a tarot deck out of her collection and picks 12 cards from that correlate to each sign of the zodiac. This is #crushascope for April 2016.
Something to note: Saturn, the great equalizer has gone retrograde through August 25. How does this affect you? I suggest taking a look at what house Saturn is in for you at the moment and apply that knowledge where you can. This usually means that things will have a slow start or possibly many do overs. Do not fret, Saturn tests us because like a good parent it looking out for us and only wants the best for you. Be patient and take things with a grain of salt. <3
ARIES - KING OF WANDS
Happy Birthday Aries! You are feeling extra passionate this month and you need to fufill every desire or there will be hell to pay! You are definitely feeling yourself but remember that you should also pick your battles. While you want to go out and get it remember that you have to set an example for your peers, friends, family, etc. But why am I trying to rain on your fun?! Simple! It is a power play and I know you guys love that. “Be the change you want to see in the world”. Yes have fun, but remember to keep your eyes on the prize. You win by setting an example.
TAURUS - FIVE OF CUPS
The eclipses of March 2016 and Saturn retrograde may have hit you hard and you may be feeling like you are laughing but crying but laughing because “OMFG what else can happen?!” Well let me tell you something. Good things that you are either a) taking for granted or b) too busy to notice are gonna make their way into your life. Sure you had your heart set on something/someone that didn’t exactly pan out but guess what, better things are on the way. Just be open to it and get out of the bubble. This month will be awesome but only if you let it.
GEMINI - QUEEN OF SWORDS
You need to have some you time this month. You are exhausted from spreading yourself thin. Be kind to yourself and cut out the time consuming activities that are not serving you. Your advice giving streak from last month is still going strong but be careful not to project your past experiences onto others. Those of you with water in your chart will be extra empathic and will want to help out those in need more than ever. It is awesome but protect yourself! Make sure to sage extra and to make an analysis of what is worth fighting for.
CANCER - ACE OF SWORDS
The Ace of Swords is a card of humility and utter honesty. PMA!!!! You will see the light and have a fresh perspective on things. This month will provide a lot of clarity and problem solving power as long as you are brave to come to terms with your own truth. I believe a lot of this will have to do with your personal relationships and wondering if you are surrounded by the right people. I do recommend getting into a meditation practice big time. You have questions but you also have answers and you have a 30 day window to get some killer insight. It also is a good month to kick a bad habit or start a healthy regimen of some sort.
LEO - TEN OF WANDS
Looks like April is gonna be busy for you Leo. Be kind to yourself and remember that you set your goals for yourself first and then whoever else deserves it after. Be mindful of where you exert that energy and make sure you are not a dumping ground for people wanting to get rid of their unwanted workload. You know you deserve better so act like it. You have a profound fire and passion to make things happen. Don’t burn yourself out at the expense of being a martyr. People who deserve and honor your energy will need you at 110%. I suggest the company of animals will help re-energize you. Go volunteer at an animal shelter or offer to foster a new animal friend in need to help balance out that energy.
VIRGO - KNIGHT OF WANDS
Trust your gut this month Virgo. There is no room for second guessing. April is going to fly by and I get a feeling a killer opportunity is going to come your way but you must make haste! Say yes but throw in a few of your conditions too so it doesn’t bite you in the ass. You will find yourself filled with a ton of energy too. Get out there and get active, social, wild. I am not saying you will have a get out of jail free card but you will be able to get away with a little more than usual this month. ;-)
LIBRA - SEVEN OF CUPS
Set a goal and get determined. It is time to put your money where your mouth is and show the world what you came here to do. Come to terms with yourself and what is stopping you from achieving your goals. No one said it would be easy but it is necessary. Don’t be harsh on yourself or others. People you may be having struggles with this month are mirrors for things you need to work on personally. It might not be a fun month but it will most definitely be a month to put your goals into perspective.
SCORPIO - NINE OF PENTACLES
April has some serious prosperity potential for you Scorpio. Don’t waste your time on matters of the heart as you will be spinning your wheels. Maximize your potential for work and opportunity. It will open a karmic gateway for how others who are taking you for granted will see you. It is all about strategy! Do not rely on your old methods to get what want, instead make some money, bust your butt, and let that hard work pay off. You will earn the respect you deserve and it will make you quite powerful.
SAGITTARIUS - THE STAR
Take a leap of faith and know that good things are coming your way. Your extra hard work and good deeds have not gone unnoticed. You will be rewarded this month with a most unexpected surprise. Those who you feel have taken you for granted will turn around and try to fix things. I would not be surprised if there was a promotion or proposal happening for you this month. CAPRICORN - SEVEN OF WANDS
You VS Everyone else?! However, you will win every argument with facts, wit, and back handed humor. You are prepared to defend your name and reputation to the death! This is Astrological Thunderdome and remember that you run Bartertown Capricorn, no one else. Yes you will be challenged but remember you have facts and evidence. And just like that you can overpower any group of people trying to bring you down or tell you that you are wrong. Also your breathe is important. You need to meditate too (see Cancer too. I told them about meditation too)
AQUARIUS - KING OF SWORDS
From the looks of it you may want to befriend a Capricorn ASAP because it looks like you will need some help stating your case this month. You may be feeling a little hurt but no worries because this is only temporary. Alone time is good but you also need to not be reclusive. Get out there and seek help of friends and family. You are always there for everyone else with honest advice so it is okay if you seek someone to speak to about what’s going on with you. This is a good month for reflection and talking things out. Once you face that, the resolution will come quickly, easily, and painlessly. Be brave and remember it is okay to ask for help once in awhile.
PISCES - THE HANGED MAN
Decision time is near. You have been sitting on a rather yes/no question and well it is time to take action. Failing to do so will make you unhappy! Think of April as the month you put your soul on a metaphoric juice cleanse. You are about to go into unchartered karmic territory but it is much needed. It is really more about being active than staying stagnant and complacent. You are a dynamic sign so why are you trying to stay put when you have so much potential to be the best you ever? Take that chance if you haven’t already.
